Marcus wants to buy a sustainable t-shirt so he can feel good about his purchasing decision and tell his friends. However, he doesn’t want to spend loads of time looking for something affordable.


When creating Marcus's user journey my aim was to make sure the finishing point would leave him wanting to go back and do it again. This feeling of happiness was created by helping Marcus reach his goal of purchasing ethical t-shirt. Along the journey it was crucial to follow the small number of negative feelings with positive ones by letting him know this was going to help him reach his goal.
Being able to find an ethical t-shirt in a short amount of time leaves Marcus feeling satisfied he also gets approval from his friends as he is able to show them his positive impact.
